Danish Designers

Copenhagen Fashion Week starts this wednesday. It’s Scandinavian’s biggest fashion week. Since i’m from Denmark and am proud of the danish designs I wanted to show some of the best this week.

The pictures on top are taking from Anne Sofie Madsen spring/summer 2013 collection. Anne Sofie Madsen is a young danish designer from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art and has trained under John Galliano for Dior in Paris. She has also worked with Alexander McQueen as a Junior Designer.

The pictures in the bottom are talking from Stine Goya spring/summer 2013 collection.

Stine Goya has a degree in fashion and print from Central St Martins. She makes Scandinavian design look it’s best. She been featured in Vogue, Elle, Style, Costume, Eurowoman etc.

Beauty of couture

The big couture shows are now done and that’s why I wanted to find some of the best looks from the catwalk. When it comes to couture shows the makeup is almost always over the top and it becomes art to take inspiration from. You could find black eyes with small details like green liner of jewelry. At Christian Dior’s show it was all about the lips covered in tiny stones. You could also find some more natural looks with a lot of contouring from the cheeks to the eyes!

Chanel spring/summer 2013 couture

Chanel have just presented their spring/summer 2013 couture collection. I have mixed feeling about this collection! It truly is dreaming and enchanted and some of the stuff is amazing and in Chanel style but other things seems so weird, then again it is couture and it has to be over the top! The thing I really don't like is the feathers hanging down their faces but I love the makeup, hair, all the classic piece and the surrounding!

The Obamas

The Obamas looked great during Inauguration Weekend. They whore J. Crew, Kate Spade, Michael Kors and Thom Browne. I love Michelle Obamas sense of style and her new bangs looks really good on her!

Hugo Boss AW13

All the big fashion weeks are slowly approaching and this week it's Berlin Fashion Week. Yesterday Hugo Boss showed their autumn/winter 2013 collection on the catwalk and it looked really good! I like the contrast between the black, white and red and I can't wait to see all the other shows the next couple of months.
